The term auto-scrolling refers to the ability to scroll a window by dragging an object outside the window boundary, or by continuing to type inside a Rectangle that extends beyond the window, or by advancing the cursor to a Rectangle that is not currently visible in the window.
On the Template, if you want to enlarge a Rectangle beyond the window, just keep dragging the mouse towards the edge of the window. When the cursor reaches the edge, the window will scroll, allowing you to continue drawing the Rectangle. Similarly, the window will scroll when moving Rectangles to different locations.
In the Abacus window, the window will scroll to allow re-positioning of Tiles and/or the arrowhead portion of a Tile.
When entering data into a form, auto-scrolling will automatically keep the form positioned in the window so that the selected entry field is always visible. This means that you can use a small window and a large form. When the Tab key is pressed, the cursor will jump to the next entry field, and the window will scroll, if needed, to bring this field into view.
